Big Wolverines Little Wolves
We are excited to announce a new initiative we are launching to strengthen community, build leadership, and support students through key school transitions. We are developing a Big Brothers Big Sisters–style mentoring program entitled, Big Wolverines/ Little Wolves to connect our elementary students with positive role models from the middle high school. We kick off the program in December when WHMS students will make cards and gift packets for each WES student to be delivered before break. WES students will return the favor in February when they make candy grams for WHMS students!

Santa’s Block Party
Thank you to everyone who came out to Santa’s Block Party on December 5th. The event was a great success! A special shout-out to Nadine and Brian McCoy and Lisa Clarke for volunteering to help us sell cocoa, cider, baked goods and merch. Another special shout-out to Nicole Frye, June King and Lisa Clarke for the delicious baked goods!

Looking Ahead
What’s coming down the line for Winter/Spring 2026? LOTS!! Keep your eyes open for the announcement of a Winter Give Back event which, weather depending, will include sledding and snowmen! Little Caesar’s Pizza fundraiser returns in February and we are planning a Read-A-Thon in March to continue to fund raise for a playground upgrade at WES. March will also feature the spring Scholastic Book Fair! This May, we bring back the Community BBQ and raffle/auction to raise money for the Swim Program, ensuring all WES students grade 1-5 get swim lessons. If you, or your company/business would like to sponsor the playground or swim program, reach out at wiscassetpiechair@gmail.com
